Portland Store Fixtures has finally gone live with Positive retailer for Windows. They bought it this past spring. I’m going by their store today to see how it’s going.

Well, i’m back. They’re not done adding all their stock into inventory. They have it harder than most, because there’s so much used fixture.

Positive Retailer is a POS (Point of Sale) program for small businesses. It works in conjuntion with your existing Quickbooks and complements it with complete control over your sales, inventory, purchasing, stock fulfillment etc. Everything that a business owner needs to run their store.

Most retailers can get spread sheets from their vendors with stock numbers, descriptions, UPC codes etc. and import hundreds or thousands of items in just a few seconds.

The amazing thing about it is that it fully operable online. If you choose to have an internet based store, complete with pictures, descriptions and ordering you simply check a box in the inventory screen. The orders are sent back and forth to your store at intervals you specify, with no need to develop or build a separate ecommerce storefront shopping cart .

I have more about Positive Retailer software, along with a free demo here on my site.
