I post at SearchCommander.com now, and this post was published 12 years 9 months 23 days ago. This industry changes FAST, so blindly following the advice here *may not* be a good idea! If you're at all unsure, feel free to hit me up on Twitter and ask.
My next internet marketing session is geared towards local businesses, (sign up here) and is specifically focused on beginners who don’t have technical skills. Web designers who are not SEO’s are also welcome.
I suppose if you are an long time SEO that has never delved into the changes in local search before, you’ll also find it pretty helpful. However if you’re already an experienced Internet marketer in local search, and looking for cutting edge tactics for your clients, then you’re probably already too advanced for anything I’m going to present at this beginners session.
We will be discussing the changing face of user’s search results, and look at some specific examples in different industries.
If you attend this session you will walk away with detailed actionable steps that they can take themselves, or delegate an employee to take on their behalf.
These steps will help ensure that their local brick and mortar business shows up in search, and that it is properly “claimed” at not only the big three search engines, but at some of the central data providers who provide business listings to the vast majority of the internet.
We’ll have 20 – 30 minutes of networking, an hour presentation, and wrap it up with all the Q&A time anyone needs. At this meeting, my goal is to teach you to fish, not to have you hire us to catch your fish for you.
When:
February 16th, 2012 – 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Where:
Lucky Lab Tap Room – 1700 N Killingsworth
