I post at SearchCommander.com now, and this post was published 11 years 3 months 9 days ago. This industry changes FAST, so blindly following the advice here *may not* be a good idea! If you're at all unsure, feel free to hit me up on Twitter and ask.
I will be speaking to the Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs (OAME) on Friday, August 9, 2013, at 9:15 AM as a part of the OregonLive Digital Marketing Education Series. I was just asked last week to fill the slot, and this is the session description…
“This seminar is for those businesses who may or may not have a website, but want to be sure that shoppers can find them when they search online. We will explain how to leverage free online tools such as online business directories to help your business appear in search results. We’ll also go over some things to look for when talking to companies about creating a website and mobile website, so you know what to look for – and what to watch out for.”
I’m looking forward to this, especially showing people how they don’t even necessarily need a website to get found.
