I post at SearchCommander.com now, and this post was published 18 years 3 months 9 days ago. This industry changes FAST, so blindly following the advice here *may not* be a good idea! If you're at all unsure, feel free to hit me up on Twitter and ask.

I’ve tried posting this three times in the Google Analytics help group, but there’s a bug that’s preventing many users post from showing up, and I guess i’m affected. I’ve even tried creating a new username, but still had no luck…

Anyway, here’s my attempted post that sums it up the problem I’m having with one site –

Transactions over $1000 are only counted as $1

Almost everything is working great, with Analytics integrated with shopping cart by the programmer, (OS Commerce contribution), code is in the right place, all funnels and goals operating normally etc. BUT…

The Analytics transaction list report (and all other $ reports) show my transaction value as only $1 if the sale exceeds $1000.

There have been 10 transactions in Sept so far, and I can match the dollar sales line by line for the two and three digit dollar sales ($45.50, $358.81,etc,) but if the sale went over $1000, they only show up as a dollar.

Needless to say, the ROI report doesn’t look so good! Ideas?

so, since I can’t seem post to Google groups, i’m hoping someone will take pity and either answer here, or start a new topic for me in the Analytics Troubleshooting group

Update 2014

In the past month, two people have asked what the resolution was, and if I recall, it just worked itself out. However, if this happenned today I would change to the newest Analytics code and wait 72 hours. If that didn’t fix it, I’d post here at Google (assuming I was able!)

If you like what you've seen here, would you please share this?
