I post at SearchCommander.com now, and this post was published 19 years 3 months 15 days ago. This industry changes FAST, so blindly following the advice here *may not* be a good idea! If you're at all unsure, feel free to hit me up on Twitter and ask.
I’ve posted a new article explaining why your business absolutely must have good SERPS (Search Engine Results Pages) to be successful in the coming years. I’d really like to see a rebuttal, if anyone disagrees…
This applies not only to search engine optimization and marketing in Portland Oregon, but anywhere in the country!
Why have I left these posts here? Becasue I’m going to give you a quick lesson. I’m actually writing an article about this subject.
They’re called “comment spam”, and they are designed to get traffic to those websites, which will make the person money.
This develops a one way link from my site to theirs, which as we all know is a big slice of the SERPS pie. Develop thousands of links, especially from theme related sites, and those will help.
These “comment spammers” are not doing a bad thing in my opinion, and here’s why. Because I have chosen to leave my visitor comments on, with me seeing every post before it goes up.

I’ve declined about 15 more comment spammers from here. Okay, it’s irritating. It’s not really wrong, but I wish they’d bug someone else. Now if they were comment spamming about related topics to this post, I could approve, but these just waste my time.
