We still want to move closer to our kids school, but summer is coming to an end, and we’re just about ready to give up. After coming down over $70,000, here’s our last pitch before we just stay where we are.

Well I guess we’re not moving, which is just as well I suppose. We really do love the house, and other than getting a manufactured home from J & M Homes, I’m not sure we could afford anything else since we’d have to take so little for our house.

Even though it’s easier to get a mobile home loan than a traditional mortgage, there would be nowhere to put it in the neighborhood where we want to live anyway. Actually, maybe once the kids move out, we should just get a park model and put it on a small piece of land somewhere. They’re pretty cool!

This house is just going to be too big after they’re gone, so maybe we’ll find some small house plans to build on a piece of land somewhere, or even live in a Hawaii condo all year long, or at least while on vacation for a few months of the year.  I guess it doesn’t matter now, ’cause we’ll be here for quite a while the way the economy is headed…
