Portland, Oregon is a hotbed of search talent, and tonight it’s going to be easy to find many of them in one place… Downtown at Paddys.
Recently I’ve suggested to several people that they attend tonight’s SEMpdx (Search Engine Marketers of Portland) because they were looking for people with specialized skills, and didn’t know where to turn.
One caller needed a specific type of pay per click marketing expert, while another was looking for a PHP database programmer that was very search engine knowledgeable.
A third person that called was looking for someone with specific experience and expertise at marketing on a particular social networking site.
The odds are that all three of the people I recommended will be at Paddy’s bar and Grill tonight, along with a few dozen other talented Portland and Vancouver area search marketers.
The networking event tonight is being shared with the SAO, (Software Association of Oregon), and is beginning at 5 p.m. and scheduled to end at 8.
Paddys is located at 65 SW Yamhill, right off of the Front Avenue, and I hope to see you there.
