Well I guess we’re not moving, which is just as well I suppose. We really do love the house, and other than getting a manufactured home from J & M Homes, I’m not sure we could afford anything else since we’d have to take so little for our house.
Even though it’s easier to get a mobile home loan than a traditional mortgage, there would be nowhere to put it in the neighborhood where we want to live anyway. Actually, maybe once the kids move out, we should just get a park model and put it on a small piece of land somewhere. They’re pretty cool!
This house is just going to be too big after they’re gone, so maybe we’ll find some small house plans to build on a piece of land somewhere, or even live in a Hawaii condo all year long, or at least while on vacation for a few months of the year. I guess it doesn’t matter now, ’cause we’ll be here for quite a while the way the economy is headed…
Scott,
If you decide to move over to the “sunny” side….let us know!

Hi Scott, Really Nice ad, You can be my marketing specialist. I hope this works for you, but there might be an agent out there that insists on getting paid if they bring you an offer at 344k because you are listed on the rmls..the last agent Todds client saw this ad, and I dont think they where planning on offering more than what the ad said at that time which was 350k. which is not good…I dont blame you for going to this extreme but maybe we should put the price lower on the rmls and lower my commission and the buyers agent commission. 2.5 and .50 is only 3% total, I would be willing to go to .50 if you guys bought your next house with me! that would take the commission down .75% saving you about 2,600 at the sale price of 350k. What are your thoughts…be nice
The agent can insist on whatever they want, and we can simply decline, so I don’t see what the problem is, but I’ve adjusted here for simplicity.
Time is running out anyway, and it’s just 3 weeks until our Pod is scheduled for redelivery, and it looks like we’ll be staying.
What’s the lot size? or is it too late?
How big is the lot?
