Yep, you read that right, Google has signed a deal with Intuit that will allow users of Quickbooks 2007 to be able to enroll in, and even manage a Google Adwords campaign right from inside the Quickbooks software on their PC. They won’t even need to go to Google to manage their bidding process or to see their history.
Other Google spiffs that will be rolled in to Quickbooks, include the Google Desktop (a search application for your local pc), “one click” listing in Google Local (which currently requires a lot of hoop jumping at Google Maps) and even product sales integration into Froogle (Google’s online shopping portal).
Sometimes people need to be hit over the head with something before they see it’s value, and this announcement should serve as a pretty hard whack in the head to anyone that’s not spending a portion of their marketing budget online.
When done correctly, Pay Per Click advertising offers a better value than most other small business advertising options, and now it’s gotten even easier.
